About

A professional association of physiotherapists in India

United for Health. Committed to Care. NPA brings together clinicians, teachers, researchers, and students around shared standards, learning, and a public voice for the profession.

Professional commitment

The National Physiotherapy Association (NPA) was established to champion the dignity, clinical autonomy, and progressive development of physiotherapists nationwide.

By bridging clinical practice with research, continuing education (CME/CPD), and advocacy, NPA works so that patients receive accessible, evidence-based rehabilitation that restores function and improves quality of life.

Mission

“To unite and empower physiotherapists through excellence in education, clinical practice, research, professional development, ethical leadership, and policy advocacy—while advancing accessible, evidence-based physiotherapy for the health and well-being of society.”

सर्वे सन्तु निरामयाः

“May all beings everywhere be healthy and free from illness, disease, and infirmity.”

Inscribed on the NPA seal, this aspiration anchors our clinical purpose: restoration of health with compassion and scientific care.
